I was wondering what all those ships were.

I thought we were under attack.

On Saturday, May 28, the Breitling Jet Team will conduct a photo mission beginning at 5:00 PM over various parts of NYC. The aircraft will travel westbound from Long Island over the water near the south shores of Queens and Brooklyn before turning and navigating north over the Verrazano Bridge, continuing up the east side of the Hudson River to the Tappan Zee Bridge. From there, the aircraft will turn around and travel southbound over the west side of the Hudson River to the Verrazano Bridge, before traveling northbound up the east side of the Hudson River to finish their route. During this operation, the aircraft will fly at an altitude of approximately 1,500 – 2,000 feet. The rain date for the event is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, at 5:00 PM. A photo of the aircraft is available at https://bit.ly/25jxIRO.

Glad to see there is a Fleet Week this year. They eliminated it a year or two ago.

This is a great way to show our appreciation to our brave men and women who serve in the Navy.

It is also a good way to remember that NYC is surrounded by water and the important role the waterways were responsible for making NYC what it is today.
