Police are asking for the public’s help in finding suspects in two recent robberies, one in Central Park and one in Riverside Boulevard.

Police released the surveillance images above and the details below about the Central Park robbery.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 1820 hours, the three male victims, 10, 14 and 15, were in the Northwoods of Central Park, in the vicinity of West Drive and Transverse Road Number Four, when the three suspects yelled out to them. The victims stopped and the suspects approached them asking them what they had in their pockets. The suspects then went through the victims’ pockets and bags and removed their iPhone 6 and Android cell phones. There were no reported injuries.

Police are also looking for a quartet of suspects (pictured below) who they say were responsible for a robbery on the Upper West Side as well as a robbery in Washington Heights.

Incident #1 (20 pct): It was reported to police that on Saturday March 19, 2016, at approximately 0120 hours, opposite 100 Riverside Boulevard [near 65th street], the two suspects approached the 60 year-old male victim. One of the suspects displayed a black firearm and demanded the victim’s property. When the victim yelled out for help, the suspects fled the scene empty handed.

One suspect displayed a knife and another brandished a handgun. The victims complied and gave the suspects their property. The suspects fled with the victims’ cell phones, credit cards, debit cards and approximately $100.

The first individual is described as a male, black, in his 20’s, 6’0″, 180lbs; last seen wearing a dark colored jacket and blue jeans.

The second individual is described as a male Hispanic, in his 20s, 5’8″, 160lbs; last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a dark colored hooded sweater.

The third individual is described as a female, Hispanic, in her 20s, 5’3″, 180lbs; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and a dark colored jacket.

Thank you commie mayor BdB.

Stopping Stop N Frisk was such a “good” idea.
All criminals in the second article had a knife or hand gun.
Stop N Frisk could have stopped them before they committed their crime spree.
But of course, some bleeding hearts would say that it’s not the right thing to do, stopping minorities before a possible crime.
Hey, I am not a minority, and I was stopped twice, and was grateful for it as well.
And the fact that most6 of these crimes are done by minorities, for what ever the reasons are, is a fact!

Wake up NY City. Before it’s too late!

How many times do we (myself and other commenters) have to explain that stop and frisk never ended?

The only thing that changed is that you actually need a good reason to stop and frisk people, aside from someone subjectively deciding someone is suspicious.

Zeus, you spread a lot of negativity, so please try and read up and learn about this instead of repeating the same old tired ideas without even considering what we’re trying to say.

Plainly, you’re wrong.

If there’s one thing that the recent race for the repub nomination has made clear, it’s that facts, reason, and the Constitution mean nothing to people twisted by their hate.

Siddhartha-
You are the one that is wrong.
Stop N Frisk as it was implemented under the previous two regimes, was stopped by commie mayor BdB.
You may not admit it, but it WAS stopped.
One of the first things commie BdB promised to do, and did, is stop it.
Your name means peace, but your words do not convey the same.
Of course, he promised to cancel the horse rides in Central Park, and he did NOT do it.
Broken promises, crime rate zooming, slush fund – our mayor is a one termer, and if he’s elected again, than the city gets what it deserves.

I’m not sure you’ve said the word “commie” enough. I think it’s important you say it a few more times. Some of your sentences did not have the word “commie” in it and I almost didn’t know how to go on living.

Why is so hard to find them? Seems to me most schools have a database of names and faces of all their students.

so if the Mayor is a “commie”, and since he has over a 50% approval rating and will most likely win re-election, what does this say about New Yorkers? Are we all commies? and if we are, then shouldn’t we elect commie mayors? isn’t that democracy?
