Send in your photo and you might be eating an amazing meal at one of these tables next week.
We’re holding a special photo contest this week for West Side Rag readers. The theme of the contest is “Nighttime on the Upper West Side,” and we’re partnering with a great Upper West Side restaurant to offer a special prize to the winner.
Michelin-starred restaurant Telepan on West 69th street is celebrating its 10th anniversary by offering a “Ten Years Ten Dishes” tasting menu starting on Wednesday, January 6th, available through Sunday, January 17th. Chef/Owner Bill Telepan has chosen ten of the restaurant’s most popular dishes over the years, and will present them over a seven-course meal. The menu is priced at $125 per person and includes optional beverage pairings for an additional $75.
The lucky winner of our photo contest will be able to enjoy the menu with a guest for free!
More on the photo contest:
We’re looking for photos of the neighborhood at night. These can be photos of nature or panoramic shots, or pictures of nightlife or people (one note: in general we don’t tend to post recognizable pictures of kids if you don’t have a parent’s permission). The photos will be judged by a panel of local amateur and pro photographers, and we’ll also allow the audience to vote. The audience vote will count for a portion of the total score (less than 50%), and the judges’ scores will account for the rest.
To enter:
Send your photo as a jpeg to westsiderag at gmail dot com with your name and any other info you’d like in the caption. Please make the subject line “photo contest”. Photos must be received by Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 5 p.m. EST. We’ll plan to have the audience vote on Monday, and announce the winner at the end of the day.
May I submit more than one photo?
One entry per person.
Can the photo be from any time of year? Or does it have to be taken during Jan 4-11?
Any time of year.
