UPDATE: Thursday, June 25 at 10:15 a.m.: Police released photos on Wednesday of two suspects wanted in connection to attacking and stabbing a 73-year-old man on a M104 bus traveling down West 92nd Street and Broadway on June 5.

A man was stabbed Friday evening on an Upper West Side bus after an argument turned violent, a police spokesperson told West Side Rag.

A 73-year-old man was in a verbal dispute around 6:40 p.m. with two other men on the M104 bus near West 92nd Street and Broadway, when one of them stabbed the victim, NYPD said. It is not clear what the argument was about.

Medics rushed the injured rider to Mount Sinai West in stable condition, police added. The two attackers exited the bus and fled north on Broadway, NYPD said.

There have been no arrests as of Sunday afternoon, police said.

I thought they had cameras. Buses I took in other cities had two or three cameras. Front, back and middle doors.

At least it wasn’t random violence.

Arguments in our society are settled with weapons and not words. Was it always like this?

Cameras document incidents but do not stop them. The problem is bigger than that.

But they help to catch the perpetrators, which in turn decrease crime. Most crimes are repeat offenders.

This is horrible, but a word to the wise. Never argue with people you don’t know.

There are a lot of issues in this city. But please stop reading the NY Post and letting it work you up. Quoting news from the Post is a sign of ignorance. it is only good for page 6 and sports. The rest is awful – MAGA propaganda.

I don’t think we should be telling people to stop reading this and that. No outlet is objective, including WSR (sorry WSR)

Rush hour on a heavily traveled bus. And I take that bus often. Wow.

I’ve seen more descriptive information about the attackers in other publications. Surely the police said more about them, what are you afraid of?

The only description I’ve seen reported is “One is described as wearing a red hat and tan shorts, while the other wore gray and blue jeans.” All these cameras and no photos released?
