I could easily see this cartoon relevant in CA – substitute “run as Democrat for CA governor” ……
We’ve got a list of Democratic candidates as long as a CVS receipt and two leads on the MAGA front….which spells disaster in a “winner takes all” sort of competition. We might see two MAGA hats up on the stage for the fall election debate!!!
A Republican governor is exactly what California needs right now! That state is a mess.
It’s not “winner takes all.” It’s an open, non-partisan primary system where the top two vote-getters advance to the general election.
