“Internationally known as one of the most elegant and beautiful places for holiday shopping”
Easy there marketing person lol
Pay The Pipper…thanks for the laugh!
There’s a drive-in hamburger place up in Brewster called The Red Rooster. On their soda cups it says “World Famous” and underneath those words it lists a few of their items, like Hamburgers, French Fries, and Milkshakes. I always used to joke with my kids that if you went to a place like Burkina Faso and asked people “Have you ever heard of the Red Rooster?” they would say “Of course, it is world famous!” But if you then asked “Did you know they have onion rings?” they would say “Onion rings? No. I knew about the hamburgers, French fries, and milkshakes…”
I’m not so sure it’s popular, either, except among the touristas.
The Holiday Market’s gigantic ginger molasses cookies and jumbo gingerbread people are world famous with me!
Good to know!
Hard to believe that with all the cookie places around the neighborhood, ginger ones are hard to find.
