Well-Paid Maids Gets Labor Day Off — Plus 23 More Days Each Year

Heads up: Well-Paid Maids will be OOO this coming Monday. Labor Day is one of four paid holidays we give our employees. They also get an additional 20 PTO days each year.

Labor Day feels particularly important to us. Taking the day for a little R&R allows us to reflect on our employees’ hard work over the past year and show them some extra appreciation.

In addition to PTO, we also pay our employees (W-2 classified) a living wage of at least $27 an hour. Other benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance; 100% employer-paid commuting costs; and an employer-paid membership to the National Domestic Workers Alliance.

So what do all these benefits mean for you? It means our cleaners are well rested and ready to leave your home spotless! Time off also hedges against unnecessary, preventable workplace injuries, which plague our industry.

And, hey, everyone deserves a little break — including you. Book a cleaning online.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
