Starring Tony Award Winner Frank Wood and Kelley Curran from HBO’s “The Gilded Age” Directed by Brian Mertes

“Frank Wood and Kelley Curran are terrific” – This Week In NY

Tony Award winner Frank Wood and Kelley Curran—known for her remarkable performance in HBO’s “The Gilded Age”—are captivating audiences in this groundbreaking production of The Meeting: The Interpreter. An intimate, powerful, and evocative two-person play, it promises to be a theatrical experience like no other.

At every performance a camera crew films and projects the entire production live, allowing the audience to witness the show live on stage, while intimate visuals and unseen views of the performers are simultaneously projected onto a large screen. The metaphor of the voracious appetite of the media to manipulate and interpret the individual’s story to its own end is a powerful added layer of insight into the characters and their relationship with the truth.

“It’s a beautiful, weird show” – Frank Wood. This world premiere is a limited engagement, making it an unmissable event for theatre enthusiasts. “On the page, it seems personal and political at once, but really it’s a story about two human beings trying to understand each other” – Kelley Curran (Richard Ridge for Broadway World).

The show is currently running through Sunday, August 25th, 2024, at the Theatre at St. Clement’s located at 423 W 46th St, New York, NY. Ticket prices start from just $39*. Performances are held Wednesdays through Saturday at 7:30pm, with matinees on Thursday, and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm
