A family in Brooklyn is seeking assistance locating a missing 12-year-old girl. As the flyer above indicates, Tori Perozo was last seen on Tuesday April 9th at 3:45pm on the N/W train heading south from West 59th Street. The family asks anyone with information to contact them at (251) 394-1593. An NYPD spokesman confirmed to West Side Rag that a missing persons report has been filed.

Honestly people need to stop with those missing hostage signs. Unfortunately those politicized signs can drown out actual missing persons signs just as this little girl . No need to put kidnapped or missing when they’re not even here . There are actual missing and kidnapped people right here that aren’t getting the type of attention they deserve . Before I used to stop and look at each sign , now I assume they’re just a hostage sign . These signs have to stop

Pathetic comment. If you or any friend or family member were kidnapped and held by a terrorist group for an extended period of time I’m sure you would appreciate whatever support the worldwide public could offer, including posting missing hostage signs to keep the issue in the public’s eye. But, since it isn’t you, your family or friends, ‘“honestly people need to stop with these missing hostage signs.” Your empathy is beyond the pale.

It’s good that this issue is being addressed. New York City has a significant number of missing persons, and their posters often go unnoticed amid a plethora of signs about hostages. If we prioritize Israeli hostages, we should extend the same concern to others held against their will, including those unlawfully detained in China and political prisoners in Russia. so where are the chinese and Russian posters ??????However, the focus seems to be predominantly on Israel. This selective attention is concerning. Are the advocates for Israeli hostages as active in supporting individuals from other countries? If not, perhaps it’s time to reconsider the placement of these posters. Especially considering we’re thousands of miles from Israel, and there are many missing children right here in NYC who deserve our attention and efforts just as much.

The families of the actual remaining hostages and other murdered Israelis regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I don’t think you owe anybody an apology. I pray the hostages are safely returned. I also pray this girl is found safe. It must be — should be –kept in the public eyes of attention that there are still hostages out there. We must notforget that.

It would be helpful if there was clarification as to whether this is an endangered child versus a parental abduction. (I hesitate to include ‘runaway’ because often children thought to be runaways turn out to be victims of kidnapping and murder and not runaways at all.)

Prayers to all for a safe return.

I agree , I was just speaking about the same issue. Even if there were signs all over NYC to look for this girl and many other missing people , we wouldnt be able to see them because there are so many hostage signs. Prayers to this girl and her family.

Seems like a runaway situation according to a post on nextdoor. They have cctv footage of her in the subway wearing different clothes. Either way, hope shes found and they get to the bottom of why she went missing in the first place.
