Discover the Joys of Learning at Bright Horizons in NYC

A Great Place for Learning — And for Childhood

How do you answer a child who asks “Why?” At Bright Horizons, teachers answer with, “Let’s find out!” It’s part of Bright Horizons’ unique approach to early learning where teachers encourage exploration, and where children start on the path to school readiness and becoming confident learners for life.

What else makes Bright Horizons a great place for learning?

A Proven Approach to Early Education

Rooted in research and designed by early childhood experts, Bright Horizons programs are designed for the way children learn, with curriculum that grows as children do, from infant to school age. We pair the individualized care parents want, with the subject areas — reading, math, science, and more — children need, preparing them for success in school and beyond.

Environments That Nurture Growth and Development

We believe that environment is the key to creating a joyful place for childhood; and we put a great deal of thought and care into creating those joyful places. In keeping with Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, our designs consider not only what children need in a space, but how they will use it. Beyond the classrooms, our center also offers enrichment spaces, such as indoor movement zones, art studios, and STEM labs.

Programs Designed for Today’s Families

Whether you’re working at home or in the office, navigating childcare can be a challenge. Bright Horizons offers safe, reliable year-round care, including the opportunity to fully customize your schedule with 2, 3, 4, and 5-day options. Our centers also go beyond standard enrollment – select centers offer options such as NYC 3K and PreK For All and SchoolsOUT, which is a before- and after-school care program that balances learning with play; a place for children to finish homework, play sports, and engage with other kids their own age. For parents, the program bridges the gap between school hours and the workday, and can also provide full-day camps and care during school breaks and summer vacation.

Supported by the Best Teachers

Teachers are the heart of everything we do, and we’ve set the standard for supporting them. We provide continual training and professional development, and pay full tuition so they can go back to college and earn their early childhood education degrees. The result is teachers you can feel great about — professionals with the passion and skill to support important developmental milestones, and nurture your child’s individual talent and skills.

A Great Place for Parents, Too

We actively work to support family life and create pathways that involve families in our programs. Parenting workshops, curriculum nights, family breakfasts, potluck dinners, and more are held throughout the year. Our centers are active communities that foster relationships and create supportive networks.
