Come to Blues BBQ Festival this Saturday, August 13, in a new location—Pier 76—to enjoy tremendous performances and sizzling BBQ, featuring local restaurants and soulful blues music along the Hudson River. An annual (and tasty) tradition, Blues BBQ has become one of Hudson River Park’s signature free summer events, and this year is set to be a big one. Doors open at 1:00 PM, free admission!

2022 Line Up: Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers, Jackie Venson, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Bette Smith, Don Bryant.

While these talented artists take the Blues BBQ stage, beloved NYC grill masters will be serving up delicious BBQ. This year’s offerings include Big Papa SmokemGourmet BBQ, Blue Smoke, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Jases BBQ and Kimchi Smoke Barbeque. Drink it all down with seasonal sips from Allagash Brewing, Archer Roose, Bronx Brewery, Sunday Beer, Two Robbers and JuneShine.

This free festival is presented in part by Hudson River Park Friends, the Park’s philanthropic partner, dedicated to the completion, care and enhancement of the Park, with additional support from Ben & Jerry’s, CrowdRX, JuneShine and WFUV.

Shoot, I can’t remember the cross street nearest Pier 76, and fear it’s likely NOT 76th st.

No, that would make too much sense.

New Yorkers know that if you subtract 40 from the pier number it will give you the approximate cross street.
