Burned by a Bad Cleaning? NYC Has a Living-Wage Alternative

Let’s face it, we’ve all been burned by bad service. You take time reading reviews, finding the right choice, you spend your hard-earned money, and you’re excited for the service. Then, you get an unhappy or rude employee, or service quality that’s lower than you’d expect, and when you look for someone to talk to about it you get ignored. Who wants that experience in a home cleaning? “No one” is the answer, and Well-Paid Maids is here to help.

We are NYC’s only certified living-wage home-cleaning company, and we believe that if we take care of our people, they’ll take care of you. We start all our employees at $26/hour, and offer a full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 22 paid days off, and 100% employer-paid commuting. With Well-Paid Maids you get a happy, highly trained, detail-oriented employee, instead of an independent contractor who’s overworked and underpaid.

We provide eco- and pet-friendly supplies to our cleaners so you know you’re getting products you can trust.  In addition, we bring all the equipment we need, so you don’t have to have anything on hand.  Finally, we have a customer support line and email address because we love getting feedback from our customers. The end result? A cleaning done the right way by a company you can trust, and we think the difference shows.

Make an appointment today and book with a cleaning service that matches your values. See why our customers have found us to be the best cleaning service they’ve ever had. Not only will you be supporting our employees, but you’ll also be supporting our efforts to advocate on behalf of all workers. And instead of a hurried appointment done by an underpaid, overworked independent contractor, you’ll receive a thoughtful, thorough service from one of our happy, hardworking professionals.

PS – Use coupon code WESTSIDERAG to save $20 off your first cleaning if you book by July 3rd. To learn more, check out our coverage in the New York Times and on CNN, send us an email at help@wellpaidmaids.com, or give us a ring at (212) 847-1369.

Impossible to find the cost to customers. No where is it listed on the website. I did find the list of what they don’t do. And costs extra to wipe down the inside of your microwave!!

CWR,

Thank you for your feedback! Our prices are on the first page of the booking process, once you have utilized our dropdown menus for you location, number of bedrooms, and number of bathroom options , the dropdown menu for your selection of cleaner will also have the price listed for the service.

We do offer the Inside Microwave service as one of our extras, as we use all the time we have allotted for our cleaners down to the last minute. A thorough cleaning of an exceptionally soiled microwave can take up to 10-15 minutes, as food can be caked on and the glass tray inside needs to be removed and scrubbed, so we want to ensure our team has the appropriate time to do a thorough job on what’s included in our standard service. However, if you are a client and your microwave just needs a quick wipe down and/or your cleaner has extra time in the home, we encourage our clients to let us know what will make the service right for them!
