Lost Dog

By Laxmi Dady

My dog went missing Monday evening in Morningside Park. Cash reward for anyone who finds him, no questions asked! Please spread the word.

Extremely cute & friendly puppy with a corgi body and a German shepherd face. 27″ long and 12 kilos. Black in body with brown on his: paws, snout, ears, inside of legs, belly and eyebrows.

I flew him from a rescue in Mexico to NYC on 6/26. His first day in NYC spooked him, he sprinted out of my arms harness leash & all!

He doesn’t yet have an identifying tag, microchip, or license. Is current on all of his shots.

Post this flyer all over Harlem, the Upper West Side, and offer a generous reward. This is the way a friend of ours got her dog back. It took 3 weeks of waiting. Translate it to Spanish as well and put some in East Harlem.

Good luck.

Presume you’ve already checked the city dog pound and any local rescue groups? This is so heartbreaking! As a fellow dog owner, I know your heartbreak. Please keep up posted if you have the good fortune to recover your dog. As another poster here suggested, post your ads all over Harlem in English and Spanish, too. You’d be surprised how far a disoriented dog can travel. My prayers are with you.
