Congregation Rodeph Sholom Welcomes You to
TogetherFest: A FREE Celebration of Community and Connection!
Spring is here, tulips are sprouting in UWS gardens,
and we are ready to reconnect.
Join us for TogetherFest!
It’s time to reclaim the value of gathering in person.
On Saturday, May 7, Congregation Rodeph Sholom, at 7 West 83rd Street, off Central Park West, welcomes our UWS community for a festive and free all-day event filled with activities for all ages — children, families, and adults. Not a member? No Worries. Come meet our clergy and congregants, learn about Jewish wisdom and spirituality, hear music, eat delicious food, and more.
This historic UWS synagogue, with its vibrant forward-looking leadership, is open to people of all backgrounds, faiths, and paths seeking sacred connection and community.
Get to know us! From morning to evening, we’ve planned a jam-packed day with opportunities to meet and connect with others. Programs are geared to Young Ones ages 0-4; Families with Children in Pre-K to 6th Grade; and Adults with worship, learning, and fun group activities for all. They include:
- A Shabbat morning experience filled with music that mixes ancient liturgy with modern melodies and Torah study that might deliver a surprise twist
- Mind, body, and soul interactive workshops led by our clergy
- Fulfilling Mitzvah projects
- The Big Quiz Thing Family Trivia Game
- Young Professionals roundtable and networking
- Mah Jongg
- Noshing (of course!)
And, speaking of noshing, we end our day with a special event about Jewish food and culture, featuring Saul, Stanley, and Eli Zabar. Their name is synonymous with smoked fish, bagels, and babka. They will share the family story behind their iconic NYC food empire.
Congregation Rodeph Sholom is at 7 West 83rd Street
off Central Park West.
There is no fee to spend the day together exploring
this welcoming congregation.

Well, I am going to be a pill about the headline. It should read “No Fee or [not nor] Membership Required.” Or, one can say Neither Fee Nor Membership Required. Just an observation from a copy editor with 15+ years of experience in publishing houses in NYC.
NEITHER fee NOR …
Rodeph is a treasure!
I am very interested in attending, but will not be able to spend the entire day because my children will be visiting me around 4:30 that day. I would like to find a synagogue on the Upper West Side.
I don’t know if you answer questions, but I would like to know if Congregation Rodeph Sholom is reform or conservative. Thank you!
Rodeph is Reform.
And a fantastically welcoming place and community. Try it!
It’s Reform. I don’t care for any of the Synagogues on the UWS, been to them all, stopped attending years ago.
