A man and a woman were shot Tuesday night at around 7:20PM on West 103rd Street and Manhattan Avenue, an NYPD spokesperson told West Side Rag. “The shooter, a 26-year-old male, turned himself into the police, and was charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment. He is now in the purview of the court.”
One victim, a 21-year-old male, was shot in the right leg, the spokesperson said. The second victim, a 27-year-old female, was shot in the left forearm. Both were transported to Mount Sinai Morningside (St. Luke’s) Hospital, and are in stable condition.
Thanks to Ed Hersh for the tip.
Jesus. I wonder what the story is behind this.
But glad the shooter turned himself in and the victims are ok.
It will be interesting to see how the DA prosecutes this.
I think he did actually say that attempted murder/murder would be something that is prosecuted
