Constance Wu and Javier Bardem are filming an adaptation of Lyle Lyle Crocodile, the children’s book that’s mandatory reading for every New York City kid.

Wu, who starred in Crazy Rich Asians, was spotted filming late on Tuesday on 85th between Central Park West and Columbus.

Lyle Lyle Crocodile is set for release next year.

Speaking of UWS filming…

Has anyone been watching “Only Murders In The Building”, the new show with Steve Martin and Martin Short??

I have to admit I was a little skeptical but it is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend.

Lots of UWS locations and just great writing. Some funny celebrity cameos. Just great so far! Check it out if you haven’t seen it.

The Israeli Netflix crime/spy show “Hit and Run” made by the folks who made Fauda (also great) came to NYC for some episodes. We didn’t know so it was a complete surprise to see scenes shot right around the corner on 101 and bway.

What is he doing here? Doesn’t Lyle live on East 88th Street?
Great book.

i was living on WEST 88th street when my daughters and their parents greatly enjoyed all of the LYLE books…even though he lived in a neighborhood with quite a different vibe. now i have a granddaughter who lives in “the country”, but i am sure she will enjoy these books, too. can’t wait to see the film!
