Missing Man Last Seen on 61st Street

A 65-year-old man named Homer Moreno went missing on Monday from in front of his apartment at 43 West 61st Street. He was last seen around 2 p.m. getting into a cab, police said.

“The missing is 5’10” and 180-190lbs, heavy build. He has gray hair and was wearing a black jacket, black sweatpants and black sneakers. He was carrying a folding walker,” police said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). I saw him standing inside Paris Baguette at Broadway & W. 97th St. around 5:45 pm. I called it into missing persons at 212-694-7781. (I had called 1-800-577-TIPS, but they referred me to that number.)
