Cesca Expects to Reopen Next Year, Lawyer Says

Cesca, the Italian restaurant at 164 West 75th Street, expects to reopen next year, according to Steven Jacobson, an attorney who told us he represents the restaurant. The landlord has an eviction case against the restaurant, and is seeking $152,069.62, according to court papers attached to the restaurant’s door.

“Cesca is committed to the Upper West Side,” Jacobson said. “We’re currently working with the landlord on some issues and we can expect to open shortly.”

Cesca has been closed since early in the pandemic, Jacobson said.

Jacobson did not want to comment on the legal proceedings. Cesca’s two owners were not available to comment.
