On Saturday, at around 2 p.m., the NYPD got a call about a “child assault” inside 60 West 104th Street, a police spokesperson said.
“When they arrived, they found a 10-year-old boy with lacerations to the face. He was taken to Mt. Sinai West in stable condition. It was subsequently determined through an interview that a woman in her 40s had knocked at the door, and when he opened it, asked if anyone was home. When he said no, she slashed his face and fled on foot. No arrests have been made.”
