Police Ask for Help Finding Missing 11-Year-Old Girl (Update: Returned Home)

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance to find an 11-year-old named Journey Lyles who was reported missing on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from her home on 104th Street.

(Update, Monday 12:45 p.m.: she returned home safe and sound.)

“It was reported to police that Journey Lyles was last seen on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at approximately 1530 hours inside of her residence. She is described as a female Black, 4’6″ tall, 130 pounds, with a medium build, dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with rips on the front and black Jordan sneakers as per a partial clothing description reported.”

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips. All calls are strictly confidential.
