Not sure this is helpful at this point, but I saw a dog that looked like this photo running from the south end of 59th and 7th Ave. across the intersection into the park around 7pm-ish. It seemed to be running away from traffic. It ran into the area of the park where the road lets out onto 59th St and 7th Ave. If signs aren’t up in that area, it may be a good place to post them as the dog got a number of people’s attention. I was passing by on a bicycle and at the time assumed the owner was present. I really hope the dog is found.

It is very hard for me to read these stories of lost pets. Dogs don’t get lost – it is owners who aren’t properly paying attention to their dog. A dog is a responsibility. Like a child – you can’t stop paying attention when you are out in an enormous park! Pay attention to your animal is the moral of the story!
