The West Side Community Garden is hosting its popular annual Tulip Festival on two weekends this month, and it’s a can’t-miss experience.

The garden on 89th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues will hold the event on April 20-21 and April 27-28. Admission is free.

“On Saturday, April 20 and Saturday, April 27 at 1 pm WSCG’s Chief Horticulturalist, Tom Thies, will guide a tour of the garden to admire the tulips on display and answer questions from visitors,” the garden’s website says.

This is such a lovely spot. I go there each year to just enjoy the relative quiet of the garden and the gorgeous tulips. Thanks for the reminder, WSR!
