An 81-year-old woman was assaulted on March 30 while waiting in line at the AMC Loews on 84th and Broadway, according to NYPD.
The incident occurred at 3:40 p.m. on a Saturday, police said. The 81-year-old and another woman — described as being about 35 years old, 5’5″ and 160 pounds — got into a verbal altercation while in line when the other woman came up behind her and pulled her down by the hair, police said. The victim suffered “pain and swelling to her head.”
The perpetrator fled the area with “what appear to be her two children.”

If there were a photo of the children with their faces recognizable, it would be illegal to publish it. They are not the accused and there is no parental permission.
An 80+ year old? MY god there is just no civility left at all.
In a theatre with reserved only seats. What is there to fight about?!
I know it doesn’t matter but I would love to know what the argument was about. I mean, they weren’t even inside the theater yet. Hmmmmm.
Some people are just acting crazy these days. Just give it a few days and there will probably be video of the incident posted somewhere.
