A Snow-Dusting Brightens Central Park

A light snowfall on Tuesday briefly erased the winter doldrums from Central Park. David Brotsky took these photos while on an early-morning bike-ride.

Beautiful. Remember some of Central Park @ 1955 ? Have trees been replanted, after Frankenstorm ? “Loveliest of trees…: poem. “I think that I shall never see…: another poem; & , song. Who knows @ the trees of Mamre , in the OT ? The oldest tree in Flushing , Queens — gone. Book : the trees of NYC. Vivat; vivent : redwoods, sequoia trees. Johnny Appleseed was a Swedenborgian missionary.
