Workers from Triumph Construction Co. worked all night on Monday and into Tuesday morning to fix a gaping hole in the middle of 82nd Street, covering the hole left after a water pipe ruptured and the ground gave way.
The fix is temporary, however, according to the city Department of Environmental Protection. After this week’s Thanksgiving Parade, they’re planning to come back and finish with a more permanent solution.
