n.b. Senior Safe carrier bag, with some ‘goodies’ inside — was being given away…some Weeks ago. Weary of crimes against Senior Citizens. Was that street area : Manhattan Valley ? There was a program, @ 2016, where someone, [N.Y.P.D, ?], would accompany a Senior Citizen when that person did grocery shopping….

Scary above 96 street below Columbia. When we looked at apartments decades ago we considered some in that area expecting it would improve but it definitely hasn’t.

Agreed except the scary part starts a few blocks north of 86th Street. Up by 107 it seems OK west of Bway but gets seedier as you go east. It all seemed to be improving until a few years ago.

What a scumbag. Anyone who would prey on the elderly deserves a special place in hell. I hope he is caught.
