The intersection of Broadway and 84th Street, via Google Streetview.

A 67-year-old man’s body was found in the shrubs at 84th Street and Broadway on Sunday morning around 8:05 a.m., according to police.

The man was unconscious and unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police had no immediate information on what caused his death, but noted he had “no visual signs of trauma to the body.”

They had not released his name, because they had not yet informed the family.

The Post reported that “Police at first believed he may have been hit by a car but determined he did not suffer any trauma and may have suffered a medical episode.”
