CENTRAL PARK FLORA IN FULL BLOOM AMID WARM TEMPS

Plants in Central Park seem quite convinced that it is in fact springtime once again. Flowers were blooming on Sunday, and people were playing volleyball. Andrew Dallos, a photojournalist and MSNBC producer, took the photos above and below.

Update: it appears that we’re confused. The plant above appears to be a Galanthus, which tends to bloom between January and April.

The same dynamic occurred in November, when temperatures hit 75 degrees.
