I love Pricewise. Everyone in there is pleasant, polite, friendly, efficient…especially the Pharmacists. I try to avoid Duane Reade and give these nice folks my business.
and their prices are less.
Been shopping at PriceWise 27 years!! EVERYONE please shop there or else they will go away and all we’ll have is Walgreens (Duane Reade and Rite Aid merger). A total monopoly is upon us.

CVS Corp. = pharmacy, prescription service, insurance. Overpriced, limited selection.
Walgreen/Duane Read/Right Aid = severely overpriced, very limited selection.
Boycott big box monopolies/Walmart wannabes.

sorry but I love CVS and if you understand how to shop sales you will do very well there. I’ve been a loyal customer for a decade and their newest store on 77th has wonderfully cheerful employees!
It’s a great neighborhood place. Prices are great and so is the inventory which is diverse and not just “generic” name brands.
Agree with all of these comments — this is a great store run by local owners and most important, the prices really are better than any other store.
But note that it’s located at Broadway and 85th/84th (there’s also one on the UES on 86th btwn 1st and 2nd).
