The Metropolitan Opera will screen 10 of its operas in the plaza at Lincoln Center starting this week. In a twist, the opera plans to host a movie showing on Friday night instead of an opera. They’ll be showing Moonstruck, the classic romance between Cher and Nicholas Cage, starting at 8 p.m.
The operas start Saturday and begin at either 7:15, 7:45 or 8 p.m. depending on the night. See the full schedule here.
We went over last night, had gelato and enjoyed the HD opera for a little while! Thanks WSR for keeping us informed .
