A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a six-story apartment building at 254 West 82nd street on Tuesday afternoon, FDNY tells us. FDNY got the call around 1:52 p.m., and 12 units (about 60 firefighters) responded; the fire was under control by 2:30 p.m. The cause of the fire was unknown, and no one was reported injured.
