Central Park’s foliage is peaking, and an event on Saturday offers a great chance to walk around the park and check out the scenery while being serenaded.

Jazz & Colors, put on by the parks department, the conservancy and producer Peter Shapiro, will feature jazz musicians in 30 locations around the park playing the same set list. The first set starts at noon, and the second set starts at 2 and should last until 4. For more info, click here. We’ve pasted the map below, or you can see a pdf of it here. Below that, check out a video we made last year of a kid dancing to one of the bands.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
