HAVE YOU NOTICED THE UPGRADE TO OUR EVENTS PAGE?

this week's events image

For months, West Side Rag’s events page (“This Week’s Events” on the right hand side of the page) was put together in slapdash fashion, with events posted the day before they occurred or even that very morning.

We heard from some of you that you’d like to hear about events beforehand. And now we have some very good news: Starting a couple of weeks ago, arts reviewer Nancy Novick became our Events Editor, and began compiling a much more robust list of events and posting them all on Sunday night.

Check out the page, and you’ll find dozens of free and cheap events for the whole week and through the weekend. Nancy has also been updating the page with events she hears about throughout the week, so check back often. If you want to tell us about an event, email info@westsiderag.com (we may add a new email address just for events, but we’ll let you know on the events page about that).

Nancy also blogs about books, bookstores, and libraries at Stacked-NYC.com.
