THE LARSTRAND’S FIRST RESIDENTS ARE ENJOYING LIFE AT THE UPPER WEST’S NEWEST LUXURY RENTAL (SPONSORED)

The Larstrand, a newly constructed full-service building at 77th street and Broadway has welcomed its first group of residents. (In July, we wrote about the beginning of leasing at the property). With people now living at the building, one of the new residents said she’s been enjoying her new home.

”I love the modern design of my apartment and the fact that it’s sun-filled,” said Yuchin Wen, a grad student at Columbia University. “The staff has been very helpful, and the location is perfect for me, with shopping and a variety of restaurants just outside the door.”

Leasing at The Larstrand continues as the property’s initial residents begin to occupy their studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments located on floors four, five and six of the 20-story building.  The Larstrand also offers three-bedroom homes, and future rounds of occupancy are planned for the fall and winter.

Upon move-in day, Ms. Wen and her fellow residents were greeted with gift baskets arranged by Leave it to Max, The Larstrand’s concierge program.  Filled with Zabar’s delectables, the baskets also had a collection of green cleaning supplies, a nod to The Larstrand’s LEED certification. To further ease the disruption of move-in day, tenants with dogs were offered free dog sitting.

Along with their access to Central Park and the neighborhood’s many restaurants and shops, Larstrand tenants are enjoying the modern amenities the building offers.

Bertazzoni stainless steel gas ranges are a highlight of the kitchens, as are the Wi-Fi-enabled Samsung refrigerators. Equipped with tablet computers, the refrigerators allow residents to order groceries directly from the appliance door. The kitchens also feature Bosch dishwashers and microwaves, Madeli sinks and Quartz countertops. Every apartment at The Larstrand includes a frontloading washer and dryer, and let’s not forget the televisions embedded into bathroom vanities that defog at the flick of a switch.

The lobby is staffed 24 hours, and Larstrand residents enjoy access to a full-service fitness center. A significant and thoughtfully designed amenity space has been created for the roof of The Larstrand. Occupying more than 5,400 square feet, the rooftop will include an outdoor screening area and bar, as well as barbecue pits, and cabanas. There is also has a children’s playroom and a resident lounge.

The Larstrand is currently offering two months free rent for leases signed by October 31, 2013. Details are available at the leasing office. Rose Associates is the exclusive leasing and managing agent for The Larstrand. Rents start at $3,100 for studios with three-bedrooms starting at $16,500. The leasing office is open seven days a week from 10AM to 6PM. Leasing agents can be reached at (888) 480-1132 and information can be found at www.TheLarstrandNYC.com. The Larstrand is also offering a Preferred Business Broker Program and brokers are encouraged to call or visit the leasing office for details.
