The political season is in full swing, and the candidates for public advocate will come to the Upper West Side Thursday night to introduce themselves to the city’s most Democrat-rich district. The forum is at 7:30 at Goddard-Riverside Community Center on 88th.
Apologies for the late notice, but this might be worth checking out. And Upper West Sider Noah Gotbaum is one of the candidates. just decided today to run for City Council instead.
“Attending the forum and vying for the club’s endorsement will be all five of the Democrats running for Public Advocate: Noah E. Gotbaum, Catherine Guerriero, Letitia James, Reshma Saujani and Daniel Squadron. Moderating the discussion about their visions for the office and what issues they’d tackle on behalf of New Yorkers will be Dr. Vincent C. Alfonso, Jr., who is a professor of education and psychology at the Fordham University Graduate School of Education and the Democratic State Committeeman for the 67th Assembly District.”
