A fire at the Narragansett Hotel, an SRO on 93rd Street and Broadway, left one woman in critical condition early Sunday morning, according to the FDNY.

The woman was described in the Daily News as “elderly”, although her name and age were not released. She had severe burns, the newspaper reported.

The fire was reported to FDNY at 3:52 a.m. and was under control by 4:26 a.m., a spokesman told us.

A man was stabbed to death at the Narragansett earlier this year.
