A 54-year-old man was bitten by two unleashed dogs while bicycling in Central Park around 86th and Central Park West on FRiday. The dog owner was arrested for lack of licenses and vaccinations, and for letting them off the leash. She apparently didn’t believe her pups were capable of doing harm: “She said, ‘My dogs don’t bite,’” victim Enzo Ricciardi recalled. “I said, ‘Look at my legs. They don’t bite?’” (Daily News)
The manager of Sugar & Plumm Purveyors of Yumm, the controversial new candy shop set to open soon on 78th and Amsterdam, says the new store isn’t all about candy. This after an anonymous vandal posted stickers on the windows warning neighbors about Childhood Obesity and other ills. “The bistro portion of the location will serve salads, burgers and salmon among other non-sugary foods.” (Fox NY)
