Jesus Nunez, the heralded Spanish chef and owner of Gastroarte on 69th Street, battled Iron Chef Michael Symon in an episode that aired this week. What this man did with an octopus and an egg made actress Cady Huffman exclaim “Oh YES!”

Nunez was so proud of his effort that he plans to feature the dishes he made at Gastroarte. He tells us:
“Beginning Saturday, August 11, I’ll offer the octopus dishes that I prepared on “Iron Chef” in my UWS restaurant, Gastroarte (www.gastroartenyc.com), as both a 5-course tasting menu for those who wish to try all of the dishes, and as a la carte specials.The people can order individual plates or all of the plates like a tasting menu.”

Octopus meatball with vegetable balls.
Golden egg with octopus, chorizo and potato.
Black rice with octopus, idiazabal cheese, sobrasada, tobico and ali-oli.
Saffron cream with milk boiled octopus, pil-pil and crispy tentacles.

Well he had better be careful, for Romney has vowed a War on Pornography should he win. That would probably include Man/Octopus and Man/Egg sex.
