News:
A Con Edison manager filing in for a striking Con Ed workers, was burned in the face from a manhole explosion in front of 145 West 70th Street on Wednesday just after 1 p.m. Paramedics said the injuries were minor, but another worker said that his face was badly burned. His name was not released. (NY Daily News)

A 13-year-old girl was pelted in the side of a head as she walked through Central Park North and West Drive on June 26 as two rival groups threw rocks at each other. She was taken away by ambulance and treated for a head laceration. The rock-throwers weren’t caught. (NY Post)

An eight-room listing at the Dakota is asking $14.5 million. (Curbed)

HBO will broadcast an original (and highly acclaimed) movie about Central Park’s bird-watchers called “Birders” on July 16 at 9 p.m. (Broadway World)
