June 27, 2012 Weather: Sunny, High of 80 Degrees.

Notices:
State Assembly member Linda Rosenthal has gotten the city DOT to reinstall a bus shelter on 72nd Street just west of Broadway that was taken away when Trader Joe’s was built.

Monique sends us the following plea about her lost cat: “My cat went missing on June 17th on 77th street between Columbus and CPW. I have literally been posting signs for 8 days and they keep getting torn down. I am searching for her day and night. Am desperate to get the word out (with her picture). Also, a reward.” See pictures below and let her know if you find it by calling 917-841-3400.

Anyone else think we should name a street on the Upper West Side for longtime local Nora Ephron?

Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
