Folks lined the Hudson this morning to see the space shuttle Enterprise fly by on top of a jet — it was quite a scene, like an airborne piggyback ride. The Enterprise flew up the river and back down again before heading to Queens and landing at JFK airport. It will be on display at the Intrepid this summer. (In case you hadn’t heard, the United States recently officially ended the shuttle program.)
Upper West Siders got some great shots of the event and luckily gave us permission to post them. If you’ve got pictures, please send them in to info at westsiderag dot com. We’ll keep updating this page as we get more photos.
