February 8, 2012 Weather: Possible snow showers, High of 38 Degrees.

News:
An Upper West Side mom’s encounter with a creep who was watching the mother change her daughter convinced her to use a facebook app that lists New York’s sex offenders. “Upper West Side moms often have a bit of a false sense of comfort when thinking about our neighborhood in general,” she says. (Lollitot)

(I just checked their website and noticed that a lot of the people on the BID’s board, including the executive chairman, are big real estate players.) (The Real Deal)

The local community board voted in favor of a resolution that could make a controversial nursing home proposed for 97th Street seek a more complicated approval process. (Columbia Spectator)
