Lincoln Ristorante in Lincoln Center is holding a “Venetian Canevale” with a masquerade ball and dinner on Monday, February 20 to benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. News:
Ayelet Galena, a baby girl from the Upper West Side who suffered from a bone marrow disorder, died on January 31. Her parents are active in the local Modern Orthodox community and her tragic story has spread throughout the world, where thousands followed a blog about her story. “‘I worry almost like she were my own,’ one devotee wrote in the comments section of the blog.” (Forward)

Numerous restaurants are offering deals to coincide with Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, which starts today and ends February 16. Mostly, they are three course lunches and dinners for between $11 and $36. Here’s the list of participating restaurants. (via DNAinfo)

The construction noise at 77th Street & Broadway starts at around 7 a.m. every morning. That’s very early & it’s very noisy. Are there any noise statues that can be enforced?
