A new candy store just opened on the corner of 91st Street and Amsterdam Avenue in the place of the old Express Supply hardware store, and it’s already enticing Upper West Siders inside with free chocolate truffles.
Locals have been sending us excited reports about construction on the store for the past couple of weeks, and now that the shop is open our tipster Seth says it looks “amazing”; he is convinced that the business opened in the right spot.
“I bet they will do well with the flood of kiddie walkers to from/Trinity and other schools in the area,” writes our tipster Seth.
The company, which is not part of a chain according to an employee there, has a website up that’s basically blank.
The employee said the chocolate giveaway will continue at least through Wednesday.
