Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah everyone! We have some Hannukah and Christmas events listed on our calendar, and the West Side Spirit also has some here. Also, here’s are some photos of a nice “tree” made of discarded junk outside of the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew.
If you’re Jewish and don’t celebrate Christmas, you are obligated to eat Chinese food, as shown in the Saturday Night Live video below. So, here’s a link to the top-rated Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood on Yelp. Of course, the top-rated restaurant is mostly famous for its Peruvian food (Flor de Mayo on 83rd Street), but Peruvian food counts too. Eater has lots of other dining options for this weekend too.
