Burglars recently struck at 2 buildings on West 74th Street, busting into the metal doors that lead to the basements of the buildings in the middle of the night. They were foiled by a light-sleeping neighbor who woke up and apparently spooked them off, according to a note posted on trees near the buildings this week. The NYPD hasn’t gotten back to us with details about the crime.
