Magnolia Bakery may not have started on the Upper West Side, but it’s celebrating its 15th anniversary here on Saturday with some kid-friendly events that are sure to send the lines out the door.

From 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, come to Magnolia on West 69th Street and Columbus Avenue for FREE dessert sampling, balloons, face painting and chef hat decorating. The store will also offer its “most popular treat, Magnolia’s classic vanilla and chocolate buttercream cupcakes, featuring festive anniversary-themed decorations.”

Hat-tip to NearSay.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
