The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend in the neighborhod (87 degrees on Saturday, 85 on Sunday, sunny both days).

If you do one thing outside this weekend…

Stew Cutler comes to the Harlem Meer in Central Park on Sunday at 2 p.m. to play jazz and blues guitar. Sit on the edge of the lake and listen to him jam.

If you do one thing inside this weekend…

Check out the FREE comedy showcase Saturday night at Symphony Space’s Thalia Cafe starting at 8 p.m.

For more events, check out our weekly calendar.

If you’re traveling…

Check traffic info at traffic.com for delays. As for the subway, the C is running express between 59th and 125th Street. The 2 and 3 are running local from Chambers to 96th Street. For more, check mta.info.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate. A detailed statement on comments and WSR policy can be read here.

Great photo. Twisted metal at sunset takes on a life of its own.
