There has been much speculation about what will go into the series of vacated storefronts on Amsterdam between 78th and 79th Streets. Ralph Lauren’s daughter Dylan was reportedly planning to open a new Dylan’s Candy Bar there, but Dylan’s denied it on twitter. Then news breaks that the shop will actually be occupied by Sugar & Plumm Purveyors of Yumm, another “start-up” sweet shop. Just give us the candy already! (New York Post and DNAinfo)
