The Upper West Side has plenty of gourmet restaurants that receive awards and recognition, but some of the more affordable spots are also being noticed.

Michelin's "Bib Gourmand" list of the best affordable restaurants in New York was released on Tuesday and two Upper West Side spots made the cut.

The fancy-pants food reviewers at Michelin spent some time slumming it this year, and found three local "value" restaurants that they think are worth checking out.
